
The “ISTROS” Society for Historical Sciences, the Romanian representative of the American Institute of Southeast Europeans Studies (AISEES), invites you to take part in the fourth edition of the “Nicolaus Olahus – Connecting History” series of lectures, which will also be our last this academic year. Our partner and host institution for the event held on Thursday, 2 June, 18.00 (EEST) is the The Faculty of History of the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași.
Our guests for the evening are as follows:
18.00: Dr. Lucrețiu-Ion Bîrliba, professor at the Faculty of History within the “Alexandru Ioan Cuza” University of Iași, with the lecture “The history of Ibida (Moesia Inferior) in the Early Roman Empire based on its epigraphic file”
and
19.00: Dr. Milica Tapavički-Ilić, senior research associate at the Institute of Archaeology in Belgrade, with the lecture “Horreum Margi”, in the light of recent archaeological research.
