The “ISTROS” Society for Historical Sciences will institute a merit scholarship for schoolchildren passionate about history.
The impulse came with the donation from a (several?) person(s?) that wish to remain anonymous, an initiative to which we naturally adhered. The said person mandated us to offer a merit scholarship for a gifted student in the field of history, the only condition attached to this donation being that the student in this case should attend a General School from Bucharest.
We would like to thank our discreet benefactor for his initiative and we want to say that we are honored by the fact that he chose us to fulfill his kind gesture.
This has also encouraged us to take under consideration to establish another scholarship, this time intended to support a high school student dedicated to the study and promotion of history.
